iOps360 has the ability to send your Public Classes, All Classes and your Schedule to any outside calendar provider (Office365, Google Calendar, iCal etc) by creating a special “ICS” file. The outside software will ask for updates periodically which will keep the calendar in sync with iOps360.
Locating Your ICS links
First, you will have several options to link iOps360 to another calendar software.
- Public Classes
- All Classes
- Work Schedule
Using an Administrator Account, click on “Features” -> “Integrations” -> “Scheduling” ->”View you ICS file links here“.
If you are only using the Education portion of iOps360, click on “Features” -> “System Config” -> “Education” tab -> “Public Class Calendar“.
Next, you can select from several integration types. Select the option that best applies to the information you want to sync. The options with “(ICS File)” will sync with any calendar software. The website link and embedded calendar are used to allow any user to sign up for classes.
Select one of the options at the bottom ending with “(ICS Files)”.
NOTE: Protect this link as any person with it will be able to see your classes and/or schedule.
Integrating With Google Calendar
In Google Calendar, locate the “Other calendars” link in the bottom left corner. Click the + icon, followed by “From URL“. Paste the ICS link from above. Google calendar will sync your events in the next few seconds and automatically update between every 6 to 24 hours.
