The Employee Tracker allows you to record employee events, both good and bad. These events form a paper trail of events that will be helpful during evaluations and other HR procedures. The event search page will allow you to quickly find previous events and award the correct amount of points for this incident. iOps will total up the number of points the user has accumulated which may result in an action plan for continued employment.

Employee Event Details

The employee event page will show the event details and any notes about the event. Each event will have a date, title, notes. Your agency can choose from any custom Status and Event Types that you create. The status can be as simple as Open vs Closed or more complex depending on your agency needs. Event types can also be customized in the System Config to help you organize events such as Attendance, Performance issues, Positive Feedback and more. Additional fields include references to the chart or oca number, and if the employees can view/appeal the event.

Multiple employees can be referenced on the event but will only be able to see the actions that pertain to them. This is useful if the incident involved multiple personnel (i.e. positive or negative feedback from the community).

If the event allows appeals, an employee will be able to write up any additional facts and supervisors will be notified accordingly.

Once all facts have been documented, you can issue an “Action” such as a Verbal Warning or any other actions you create in the system config. Each action will allow for a number of points issued for this occurrence. Subsequent actions can also be added in the event or a new event created for each occurrence.

To help identify trends, the “Other Events” tab will show any other events for the employee(s) to help ensure the correct action and points are distributed.
