We are well underway in 2024 and have some exciting news and updates to the iOps360 platform. We have added a slew of new tools to monitor the back end and scale servers to provide faster page views. We will be completing several additional upgrades over the next month so you will see some additional down time as we add new servers and features. We will keep you updated on these and announce them on the main login page. Here’s a few of the projects that have been completed and updates on the next projects we are working on:

  1. Education Recertification Portal – You can now choose from different standards/quotas for your agency such as the CAPCE, NR 2016 etc. Your educator can adjust this in the top right options menu on the main recertification portal. Contact iOps360 if your department needs a customized quota set.
  2. Holidays – Holiday can now be awarded to part time staff if working that day. Either a set number of hours, number of hours they worked on the holiday with a multiplier or a set amount of any hours worked on the holiday.
  3. Holiday and Vacation Yearly Picks – We have upgraded our Yearly Holiday and Vacation picker from your feedback. If your department submits all their time off requests for the upcoming year, this tool will allow you to capture their requests based on one or more rounds of picks and allow varying number of picks based on their Hire Date or Full Time Hire Date. See System Config -> Scheduling to enable the Holiday and Vacation Picker and contact iOps360 for any specifics if your agency operates a little differently.
  4. Schedule – On the Day View, added the users secondary color code just behind their name.
  5. Status Boards – We are wrapping up testing on the new status boards. These will roll out this month! Lots of performance and UI improvements.

Next, we will be upgrading our Push Notification server soon and no downtime will be incurred. We will be optimizing how vehicle check data and sent message data is saved to extend the retention period of both of these.

Thanks again for all you do to keep our communities safe! Keep the great ideas coming!
