Another month and lots more cool changes based on your ideas. Here’s a couple of the bigger changes since last month for iOps360:
- AHA Student Roster – On the class view page, you can now download a csv file of the students signed up for a class. This can be uploaded into the AHA portal for quicker student entry. See Class View page and click Download AHA Student Roster.
- Discussion Boards – You can now add specific Users and User Roles to a discussion board topic. This is useful for new employees, admin groups etc. See Discussion Board – Edit Topic to designate specific user roles and or users.
- Email Service – We have changed our email provider to Amazon SES. This will improve deliverability and provider a faster sending rate. This migration has already been completed and if you have any questions or concerns, please contact us.
- Equipment Service Records – Improved the print view to better fit on one page.
- Time Clock Plus (TCP) Integration – Added an integration to send payroll data from iOps360 to Time Clock Plus using a CSV export tool. If your county/payroll system is using TCP, we can easily import time card data between platforms. https://iops360.comintegrating-payroll-with-time-clock-plus-tm-tcp-software/
- Pay Codes – Added a new pay code setting to exclude the pay code from contributing towards overtime calculations such as Training. This will still add to the users hours but will prevent any hours in this pay code from rolling over into overtime. See System Config – Time Cards – Pay codes to edit effected pay codes.
- Paylocity Integration – Paylocity has updated their 3rd party vendor integrations to make sending payroll items from iOps360 to Paylocity as easy as a click of a button. If you are using their system, learn more at https://iops360.comimport-users-leave-balances-paylocity-integration/
- Schedule – You can now change the color of each base/station and also set which column on the day view that each base is in. See System Config – General Base types to set the base color and click the Base Ordering link in the top right corner to drag and drop the bases into each column for the day view
- Time Cards – Added an action button to reduce leave if users are generating Overtime/comp time in the Payperiod. Previously this was only available on a weekly basis. Ie User has 75 hours in the pay period with a 10 hour leave. The action button would determine 75+10 is more than 80 and reduce the leave back to 5 hours to make 80 total hours.
- Time Cards – Added an admin option at the bottom to quickly send a notification to your payroll user(s). iOps will make a pre-filled message that the time cards are ready for review and you can select one or more users to send this notification to. Great for when time cards are locked out and payroll should be notified to review.
- Training – Added an admin option to mass add training hours from an outside agency. If your department counts hours from another department, you can mass add the total hours for the user in one or more hours types. These will then count towards the users quotas as Outside Hours. See Training -> Mass Add Outside Education
- Un-Availability/Blocking – Admins can now create Un-Availability for another user. Click the Admin Create button in the top right corner of the Un-Available Days feature.
We are close to rolling out our new Status Board PWA. PWA are websites but also apps that allow for better performance and can be installed like an app on most any device that has a web browser. (Sorry Roku – we tried). We are in the final stages of a Single Sign On option with Microsoft Apps/Azure AD. This will have SAML and OpenId Connectors to allow staff to click the iOps360 app from Microsoft Apps page.
