We have been working hard on a couple big projects over the last few months. One of those is re-writing iOps360 into a newer coding language that will open up many new features and faster development. This process will take over a year to complete and you will start seeing some features migrated over as we progress. These updates will create some minor UI changes with the overall functionality being the same.
We have also released several updates based on your ideas and feedback. Keep the great ideas coming by creating a work order for iOps360. Here are some of the bigger updates we have rolled out since last month:
- iOps360 App – Several app updates to improve vehicle check submissions relating to the inventory items features.
- Bids – Added an option to close the bid and not send a notification to the users requesting to work it. This is useful if a bid is created but staff are moved around to fill in the bid and will reduce confusion.
- Dashboards – Added a widget for Equipment Out Of Service and another for Vehicles/Apparatus Out Of Service with quick links to the equipment pages.
- Equipment Check Out – Improved barcode searching and new kit personalized barcode.
- Kits – You can now add a custom barcode to each kit instance. This is useful if the kits are already labeled with a barcode from the manufacturer. See Kit Instances – Personalized Barcode. This can be used with Eq/Kit check in, along with any where else in the app.
- RFID – Added 4 port C72 USB chargers to the online store and a new tag type that will sit off of the product improving readability. This can also replace foam tag needs, reducing costs. See Inventory – iOps360 orders.
- Schedule2 – You can now log in to Schedule2 directly from the Resources menu bar near your custom links, similar to the app pathway.
- Vehicle Checks – Added a new report to record when a special report is generated from a vehicle check. This is available in Reports – Vehicle Checks category. Corrected a bug in the app submission when the same vehicle had the same inventory items on multiple vehicle check forms.
- Status Boards – Upgraded the push notification systems to have improved delivery on Microsoft Edge browsers.
Keep all those affected by the recent storms in your thoughts and prayers. Everyone be safe out there. We appreciate all that you do for our communities!
