The iOps360 Task Module allows you to create check lists for various tasks. Some examples could be:
- Anyone at Station 2 needs to take the trash to the curb on Thursday
- All Crew Chiefs need to fill out a form by Friday
- A user’s evaluation is approaching and an evaluation form must be done
Triggers
Triggers are the what will cause a task to be assigned to one or more staff. Triggers can be a one-time occurrence, every x Hours/Days/Months/Years, and other actions such as hire dates, employee status changes etc.
Task Items
When a task is triggered, one or more items will be assigned to the designated users. Some tasks can be marked as Group Tasks. Group Tasks means that anyone assigned can complete the task for all the staff members. With the example of the “Trash goes to the curb on Thursdays”, any staff member can complete this task for everyone. Non group-tasks would need to be completed by each person assigned. A great example would be a task for every user working today that they must clock in at perform the rig checks.
Task User Assignments
Tasks can be assigned to users by a variety of methods (Cost Center, Position Assignments, User Roles, Color Codes, Skill / Rank Levels and more).
Task Completion
Staff will see their task list and can quickly document the task was completed along with optional notes and attachments (if enabled). Task questions might be a simple check box, date field, date time field, number, and other data points. You have the option of notifying staff when a new task is added. Staff can also receive a reminder that the task has not been completed yet. Staff can receive a notification when a new task is added to their task list. Once the information has been entered, the task will move to their completed task list.
If the task is a Group task (a task that only needs to be done once but assigned to several people) then the completion will complete the task for all users assigned, removing it from their list.
