The iOps360 Discussion Board allows you to post topics and give all staff a talk around forum. We have created several topic types such as Equipment, Leadership, New Ideas, Scheduling, Swaps, and some others to help get the staff involved.
Discussion Board Topic Types
You can quickly add and edit the Topic Types in the Discussion Board by clicking “Topic Management” in the top right hand corner. This requires Sysop permission since this is located in the System Config. New topic types can be quickly added and renamed. If the topic type is deleted, any discussion boards will also be marked for deletion. These can be un-deleted if needed.
New Discussion Boards
Any team member can create a new discussion board to help create new ideas. In the top of the Discussion Board section, there is a link to create a “New Discussion Board”. Users will select the Discussion Board Type (i.e. Uniforms), entering the Discussion Title (i.e. What kind of uniforms do you like / used in the past), and a some details to start the discussion. You can add styles, formatting, links, images, and GIFs to help stir ideas. Once ready click “Create Topic” at the bottom.
Users with Sysop permissions will have the ability to create a new Topic Type from here.
Users with Sysop or SuperUser permissions will have the ability to sort this Discussion Board at the top of the Discussion Board search page for important topics
