Thanks again for all the great ideas we receive each month. Here are some of the big changes we have made since last month to customize iOps360 to your needs:

  • Equipment Service Records – Added individual repairs performed/line items to the service records. Each will have a category such as Tires, Alternator, etc. to allow for quick searching. This will allow you to lookup when the last time a battery was changed, or tires etc. quickly. This could assist with warranty items since you can now access exactly when the repairs were performed and additional information.
  • Equipment Service Record Search Page – Replaced Date Created with Date Discovered in case you are back dating service records
  • Equipment Bar Codes – Added a mass create equipment barcode features in the Options Menu on the Equipment Search page. Can print by type, category, and/or asset #
  • Equipment Mapping – Added a mapping feature to the Equipment to visualize the equipment locations and also export to GIS/Google Earth/KML mapping software.
  • Leave Hours Tracking – Added the ability to deduct hours from users on a pro-rated amount (i.e. a 24 hour leave will deduct 16.67 hours leave or any proportion) and the ability to not deduct leave hours from users during specific hours (i.e. crews are not paid to sleep so do not deduct leave hours during this time).
  • Message Confirmations – When iOps360 sends a message, you can now turn on confirmations to ensure the user has received the message. A link will be added to the bottom of the message (SMS/Email/App) that users can click. Once clicked, you can be sure the message was read by the user. You can turn on confirmations for many different message types in System Config -> Email & Paging -> Message Confirmations. Schedule related messages will show an orange icon for non-confirmed schedule changes and a green icon for confirmed changes.
  • Training – Added the ability to duplicate/clone training. In the Training Actions menu, the duplicate training will create a new training instance and allow you to quickly change the date and add users attending.
  • Training – Added the ability to scan employee ids or a book of employee ids to record training faster. On the Record new training -> Users tab, there is a button to open the scanner. Employee Id books can be printed from System Config on the Users tab.
  • Time Clock Kiosk – Added the ability for users to record a time stamp by scanning their employee badge or by picking their name from a list and entering their password. Great feature to speed up the shift change workflow. See System Config -> Time Clock for details.
  • Schedule – Added a light mode and dark mode setting. Any users wanting to flip the color scheme can do so in the Settings Menu in the top right corner of the schedule. This may assist anyone with color blindness also.
  • Users – Added a user status of Temporarily Inactive that is useful with FMLA or temporary leave of absences. This will prevent the user from logging in but not modify their schedule/supervisors/etc. as the In-Active user option does.
  • Users – Users can have custom fields called Aliases. These are typically only editable by admin such as a Fuel Card Pin number. These are also useful fields for recording staff Uniform Sizes or misc. information. We added a setting to allow users to modify their own aliases in the System Config -> Users tab -> User Permissions.
