Thanks again for all the great ideas we receive each month. Here are some of the big changes we have made since last month to customize iOps360 to your needs:
- API – iOps360 now has an API to allow 3rd party vendors and applications to get data from iOps360 anytime. We have endpoints for users and schedule, with more coming soon. See Integrations -> iOps360 API to enable and view the playground.
- Classes – Added the ability to message users who have NOT signed up for a class and added a Print Class Flyer button that will print the class details and a QR code for quick sign up. Both are available in the Class View page -> Options Menu.
- Equipment – Attributes such as Tire Size, Engine Hours, GPMs, etc. can be organized into categories on the Equipment view page. This allows you to add many more custom attributes and organize the attributes. I.e. Chassis specs, Engine specs, etc. See System Config -> Equipment -> Equipment Attributes to place custom attributes into your categories.
- Forms – Added the ability to quickly duplicate forms from the Options menu on the Form Editor. Added a Forms tab in the user profile to quickly see any forms the user created or was referenced in.
- Inventory – Added barcodes for Inventory locations that can save time when having many locations. Barcodes are printable from the Inventory Barcode menu and System Config Inventory Locations. Barcodes are
- Inventory Reconcile – Added ability to sort by Row-Shelf-Bin or by Name using the filter at the top. Includes total item quantities and hides the name/par level when the item exists in several locations/expiration dates.
- Schedule – On the popup when you click a users name, added an option for Hours Summary that will calculate the hours each user worked per week/month/year/etc. for quick access
- Schedule Compensation Can Be Pro-Rated – iOps360 can now pro-rate the pay and hours used for leave requests. If users are paid for a portion of the shift to handle on the job sleep then iOps360 can automatically calculate the prorated pay and leave hours to be removed from the users balances. Contact iOps360 for assistance with this feature since your time card may need to be modified.
- Schedule Rotation 48/96 – Added a new rotation method for 48/96 hour systems. If the 48 hour shift spans into the next month, we can prevent that shift from rotating while the other shifts rotate that month.
- Shift Swaps – Added Swap Balances to let you know who you owe hours and who owes you hours. Available in the Swaps feature in the scheduling tab.
- Shift Swaps – Added a setting to automatically block a swap if either user will have an increase in overtime as a result of the swap. See System Config -> Scheduling -> Swaps
- Time Cards – The Time cards compensate for Daylight Saving Time beginning and ending causing. On March 3rd, a 24 hour time cards would show 23 hours since that is the actual hours worked that day. You can now turn this feature on or off so that a shift crossing over DST start/stop will show the normal amount of hours for the event. System Config -> Scheduling -> Time Card DST Calculation.
- Work Orders – You can designate one of the custom questions to show in the Work Order Search page. Provides quick reference to items in a work order with out having to open each work order. Also created a Work Order Export report to save work orders and custom questions. You can now turn on/off notifications for each user assigned to the work order category to reduce the notification fatigue.
- Work Orders – You can now enable or disable the General Work Order category. This is designed to be a catch all category in case you don’t have a category that meets the user’s needs. However some agencies prefer to disable this category so the work orders are routed more consistently. This can be disabled in System Config -> Inventory/WO -> Work Oder / Vehicle Check Config.
Thanks again for all your great ideas and keep them coming. Be safe out there
