Each user profile has the ability to track custom fields such as a Fuel Card Pin number, internal badge numbers, and more. Aliases / Custom Fields are only able to be modified by an administrator of iOps360 and view-able by the specific user and admin.
Creating A New User Alias Type
First, we will need to create and name a user profile alias. From the “Features” menu, click “System Configuration“. Click the “Users” tab and select “User Alias Types / Custom Fields“.
Next, click “Create New User Alias“, enter the Alias/Custom field name and click “Create User Alias Type“.
Enter The User Alias Data
Once an Alias Type has been created, select a user from the Users List. Click on “Users” from the Menu and then “Users List“. Select a user from the list and click “Edit User“. Click on the “Aliases” tab and enter the information needed.
Viewing User Aliases
The User Aliases are visible from the User Profile page. Click on “Users” from the Menu and then “Users List“. Select a user from the list and click “Emergency & Aliases” tab. Just below the Emergency Contact information for the user will be all the account aliases. You might see additional aliases such as Google Calendar Sync tokens, State Identifiers and more. This is normal and all custom User Aliases will be shown at the top of the list.
Reporting of User Aliases
You can also run a report of all users aliases. Click on “Features” and “Reports“. Select the Report Category of “Users” and select the report “Aliases And Custom Fields“. Select one Alias Type from the list and click “Generate Report“.
