Schedule Overview

It is a daily overview of the logistics of a particular day’s schedule. You can toggle what day is being viewed by clicking on the arrows to either side of the date in the top right-hand corner. Left will go back a day and right will make you go forward.

The main chunk of this block shows what events are happening with scheduling. The Approved Leave section tells you the number of employees on approved leave that day. The Approved Swap section indicates the number of shift swaps that have been approved. The Open Shifts section indicates how many open shifts are available that day. The last section, Available Staff, indicates the number of staff that are available on that given day.

The percent signs indicated the fraction of the allowable limit to that particular event. Say you have 6 users but only allow 3 at a time to take a leave, the image above has a 33% indicator. This would represent that 1 person has taken that day off. You can edit these allowances in the Operations -> System Configuration -> Scheduling tab.

My Upcoming Events

This is a simple view for the user to see all of their scheduled events. It will list when the event will be occurring, what is the event, where it will be, and others that will be involved. The user can toggle between classes, shifts, and leaves in the dropdown menu.

Your First Items Expiring

This is where education, certifications, and skills that are expiring but are not essential to your job will appear. We provide a simple and easy way for you to keep track of all of your qualifications.

Cost Center

Cost Center gives you the ability to partition your organization. You can use cost centers to manage different departments, branches, or just create some separation between admins and employees. The benefit of this is that you will be able to create different schedules. For example, you can pre-plan schedules for admins a month or two in advance since you know what their duties are. Part-timers can be difficult to schedule that far out in advance since availability can change in the short term. Cost Centers allow you to create schedules in advance at different lengths for different types of employees. You can edit Cost Centers in the Operations -> System Configuration -> General -> Cost Centers  tab.

Shortcuts

Weather information is displayed at the top of the block for your convenience. It includes the sky condition, temperature in Fahrenheit, and the wind speed and direction. In addition, those buttons are shortcuts to functions that you may use. In the button right-hand corner there is a set of gears that will give you the ability to customize the shortcuts that are present in this block.

Recent Memos

Here is where you will find company policies. Only admins can upload policies to this block using the bubble with “+” in it. All employees can view and read the new policies that are uploaded here. There is a flag to the left of the file name to indicate whether a user has read the policy or not. Red means they have not and Green means that they have read the policy.

My Requirements

Out of everything on this page, the My Requirements block is the most important for your success. You will be given user roles that correspond to your activities in your department. These user roles will be visible right underneath the My Requirements header. Below that you will see the classes and licensing needed for those particular roles. Data such as when the classes and licenses were completed and when they expire is present. You are also able to see if an education coordinator has verified the completion of that requirement. We also provide a column with links to the appropriate classes needed to complete the requirement. This block also tracks skills that are essential to your job. Similarly, you can see if it has been verified, when that skill needs to be reverified, the amount that you have, need, and is pending, and when that skill was last performed. Each class, license, skill, and the overall header each have a colored ball to the left. If it is Red, then that item needs to be verified or completed. If it is Green then no further action is required.
