It has been another busy month with all hands on deck for the RFID system and the app updates to perform all the scanning. We will be focusing on work orders and getting some other cool projects rolled out this month too. Here’s a couple of the bigger changes since last month for iOps360 based on your feedback:

  1. RFID Updates – We are glad to announce that our RFID system is up and running. This will allow you to place special tags on your equipment, assets, and inventory items so staff can do a vehicle check in seconds and a full stock room count in less than a minute. It’s awesome! Our hardware and tag supply chains have been setup and are much more economical than any competitor we are aware of. Learn more at https://iops360.comrfid-uhf-tracking/
  2. Class Sign Up – Added an optional Sign Up Closes date field to each class instance. This will prevent staff from signing up for a class after this date. If blank, any staff can sign up at any time prior to a class beginning. After the Sign Up Close date, only admin will be able to register staff for classes.
  3. Education & Schedule Link – You can now customize each class type to create schedule events on any position. If you have a Class Type called Meetings, this can schedule staff on the Meeting position while regular classes like BLS will still be on Business/Class position. See System Config – Education – Class Types to customize this for each class type.
  4. Google Calendar Sync – You can now disable the Google Calendar Sync for your entire agency. iOps360 allows users to setup a google calendar sync in their user profile so that shifts will be present on their personal calendar. You can disable it all together for all users. See System Config -> Users -> User Permissions -> Disable Google Calendar Sync.
  5. SMS Updates – July 1 we will be deprecating/removing the SMS/texting system. The app notifications and emails will be used for primary communications.
  6. User Profile – You can now disable the SSN field for your entire agency. iOps360 has an optional the last 4 of SSN field on the user profiles. You can leave this blank or now you can disable it all together. See System Config -> Users -> User Permissions -> Disable SSN Field.

Thanks again for all you do to keep our communities safe!
