We have had another busy busy month here at iOps360 rolling out new features and improving the features you use the most. Here are some of the bigger updates we have done since last month:

  1. Event Invoice Module – The Special Event Staffing & Invoicing module is now available to all agencies. This will allow you to staff special events such as concerts with and with out sub-events. I.e. Festival with Vendors and a concert that night. Contact iOps360 for a quick demo of the module and to answer any questions you might have.
  2. Forms – Ability to fill out forms into the app has been added.
  3. Open Shift Requests – Some agencies allow users to request any portion of the Open Shift and not just first or second halves. This feature has also been added to the app.
  4. Oracle HCM – We now integrate with Oracle HCM to create user accounts, sync demographics, and pull leave requests from Oracle. There are many ways to sync information between iOps and Oracle so we can expand this connector easily with additional needs.
  5. Schedule Month View – Added alternating background colors to designate your pay period begin and end dates.
  6. Schedule Views – After making changes to the schedule, especially on the month views, some browsers would not scroll you back to your place on the page and you would have to scroll back down to the bottom. Added additional coding to help prevent this and maintain your position on the page.
  7. Schedule Views – Corrected an issue when you would be editing a future month or day and changed between Month view to day view, the dates would reset to todays date.
  8. Time Cards – You can now customize the Department name on your time cards to be something other than your iOps360 agency name and we also added the ability to have a custom disclaimer message above the signatures. You will see a setting to only show this message when users are signing their time card and this will be available at a future date. For now, utilize the Always Show option. See System Config -> Time Cards -> General Settings then Layout to customize.
  9. Time Stamps – We have added the ability for staff to clock in now but record the upcoming shift start time. Ie staff could clock in at 07:30 for an 08:00 shift. This is useful if staff forget to clock in in the morning. You can enable this feature in System Config -> Time Stamps -> General Settings to set the threshold for how far in advance staff are allowed to do this.

Our current projects include:

  • 1.) Video traffic cameras in the status boards
  • 2.) Job Board
  • 3.) Staff Risk Assessments / Shift Readiness
  • 4.) Skill Check Sheets (i.e. National Registry Skills)

Keep the great ideas coming and we appreciate all that you do for your communities!
