We have had another busy busy month here at iOps360 rolling out new features and improving the features you use the most. Here are some of the bigger updates we have done since last month:

  1. App – Tasks have been added to the app and will roll out this month. Users can complete assigned tasks directly from the app with out having to log into the website. Creating and managing tasks will still be done from the website and is on our development roadmap.
  2. Education – Added a bulk license and class create tool in the Education Admin -> Education Admin Portal. Select Import in the top right corner to quickly Back Load Classes and/or create several license instances in bulk.
  3. Employee Tracker – Added a setting to allow staff to add/edit/view employee tracking events for users with a Skill Level/Rank below their own. Typically Supervisors will be assigned several users and the permissions allow the user to see events for their direct reports. This setting will allow the user to view any events for users with a lower skill level than their own. See System Config – Users – Employee Tracking – General Settings to enable. Be sure to sort you skill levels from highest to lowest priority prior to enabling this feature
  4. Inventory Add – Most inventory manufacturers include a barcode on the item packaging that includes the Expiration Date and Lot Numbers. You can now scan this barcode using any barcode/QR code reader to automatically fill out the Expiration Date and Lot numbers on the Inventory Order receive items page. This will be available in the app on the RFID Add Items page and Inventory Add Items page (App Version 20.8.2). To identify the correct barcode/QR Code look for the large barcode or QR code beginning with (01) or 01.
  5. Payroll Integrations – We have added integrations with ADP (CSV Export), Munis (Excel Export) and Skyward ERP (CSV Export). If your agency is using one of these, be sure to contact us so we can configure the connector/exports to your specific setup and save lots of time each payroll cycle.
  6. Resource Compliance – Added the ability to view compliance on a specific file or link in the resource. From the view resource page, select the Compliance tab. Using the filter drop down, select Specific file and select the needed file.
  7. Reports – Added a report to show all notes on each position (i.e. Ride Alongs) in addition to the Schedule Events notes. See Reports – Scheduled Notes and Position/Unit Notes for the new report.
  8. Schedule – Day View now includes Swaps and Trades on the right side menu for quick access and approvals.
  9. Vehicle Checks – We have completed the update to the vehicle checks to save data faster and more efficiently. Lots of UI updates including adding an App or Desktop icon on the vehicle check view page to indicate how the user filled out the vehicle check.

Our current projects include:

  • 1.) Time Stamps are being re-designed from the ground up to dramatically improve viewing and editing, especially for larger agencies.
  • 2.) Adding Forms to the app.
  • 3.) Event planning and invoicing module for special events.

Keep the great ideas coming and we appreciate all that you do for your communities!
