Another month and lots more cool changes based on your ideas. Here’s a couple of the bigger changes since last month for iOps360:

  1. iOS App Issue – iOS users that have not updated their device to iOS17 are experiencing app crashes. An update was submitted today and awaiting approval. Users can update their device to iOS17 or await the app update.
  2. Dashboard – We will be removing the older style menus in preparation for customizable dashboards. Once the widgets roll out, you will be able to have multiple dashboards (i.e. Education dashboard, User dashboard, Admin etc.), each with different content. The initial dashboard will be very similar to the current layout and you can then customize and assign users to each dashboard.
  3. Forms – Added a new setting that any user referenced on the form can view the form. Great for eval/feedback items so that the user can see their comments. Edit your form type and enabled the setting Any User Referenced On The Form Can View.
  4. Memos – Added the ability to Pin a memo to the dashboard so it will always be shown. Also changed the icons to indicate the memo has or has not been viewed for easier identification. Memos can now be archived to keep them for compliance reasons but hide from the active lists.
  5. Messaging – You can now schedule a message to be sent at a later time. On the messaging compose feature, you can click the Send Later/Schedule Message button and select the time to send the message to the selected staff. You can schedule any recurring messages in System Config >> Messages >> Recurring Messages.
  6. Inventory – You can now create new item types by simply scanning the barcode of the part number. iOps360 will try to determine the supplier, item name, unit of measure, and qty per order for many items. If another agency has already added that item, iOps will show a popup to help you enter a lot of the item details automatically.
  7. Resources – Added the ability to designate one specific resource area for quick access on the app home page. This would typically be the protocols for your agency to allow staff a one-click option to these files. View any resource on the website and click the Star to designate that resource. Apps will update daily and show the new button on the home page.
  8. Reports – Added a new Schedule report called Un-Filled and Gaps in coverage.
  9. Scheduling – You can now add notes on each day and position. This could be used for Ride Alongs, PR events etc. From the Day View (and other views), click on the Position Name and select Change Position Note.
  10. Time Cards – You can now enable a 3rd signature line on your time cards called the Department Head signature. This verbiage may vary between agencies but we picked this to serve as many agencies as possible. To enable, see System Config -> Time Cards -> Time Card Setup. Note, agencies using a custom time card we designed for you should contact iOps360 for assistance.

Conferences – Be sure to stop by our booth at EMS World and SC Leadership conference next month and AMTC in October.

Keep the great ideas coming and thank You for all that you do!
