iOps Monthly Update: Thanks for Helping Us Grow!

Each month we roll out improvements across iOps360. Here are the biggest updates from the past few weeks. Thank you for everything you do for your communities. Your feedback drives these upgrades.

The Next Shift

We have started holding quarterly meetings to get your ideas and feedback, guiding our development efforts. Keep an eye out for the upcoming meetings to make sure we are rolling out the features your department needs. New FTEP module is here!

The FTEP (Field Training and Evaluation Program) or (DOR) module is now available. It gives your Field Training Officers and trainees a structured way to onboard, train, and evaluate new employees before releasing them to independent operation.

Python Conversion Update

The Python upgrade is 100% complete. Thank you for your patience while we moved the whole platform over. This unlocks many new opportunities and faster code updates for everyone!

New Status Board

The status board has been redesigned and modernized. Check out the new version and street view on Active911 and IAR alerts.

Site Layout

We updated the site-wide styles for better readability and a more modern layout.

Scheduling & Staffing

• Schedule Warnings & Checks: We improved the checks for duplicate staffing and for staffing someone who is on approved leave.
• Bases: You can now toggle a base or station to inactive, which is useful for seasonal staffing and special events. Making a base inactive removes its upcoming events and hides it from the schedule views.
• Shift Templates: We added quick picks for times and hours. Each group now has a legend for user names.
• Positions: There is a new setting to not create an open shift when leave is approved. This helps when Admin positions aren’t backfilled.

Leave & Pay

• Pay Periods: iOps360 now supports dual pay period types. Staff can be paid on different schedules, such as part-time on a monthly pay period and full-time every two weeks. We also added less common configurations, such as alternating 13/14-day periods.
• Leave Cropping + Transfers: There are more options, including by Pay Period.
• Leave Balances: You can rename any leave balance type.

Resources, Inventory & Education

• Resources, Cost Centers: Each resource instance can now be limited to a specific cost center.
• Resources, QR Codes: Any resource can now have a QR code for quick access, such as a Bag QR code that opens the bag’s contents list. This also works for policies and procedures. You can scan the code from any device, and it is protected by login and password.
• Kit Restock: Restock is now organized by categories and custom ordering.
• Education: You can now download all education items and documents for a user in one takeout.

Communications & Integrations

• Communication Logins: Logins can now be scoped to one or more cost centers.
• iAmResponding: iAR has two data feeds, Email and Server-to-Server. Agencies on Server-to-Server can now use the iAR External Integration to bring much more call data into iOps360. See the Setup Guide on the Alerts/CAD page.
