Thanks again for all the great ideas we receive each month. Here are some of the bigger changes we have made since last month to customize iOps360 to your needs:

  1. Deployment Module – Simplified the deployment module for use when a large/multi day event occurs. Users can sign up and be approved, adding them to the schedule.
  2. Employee Barcodes – Added the ability to create custom groups of users for the barcode printing. Can be printed on a label printer or in a PDF book for quick access. Link is in the Users Search page and also in System Config on the Users tab.
  3. Messaging – Previously, iOps360 would automatically remove line breaks/new lines from messages to assist with deliverability. Now these will be kept and included with Emails. They will still removed from SMS messages. The next app update will also include the line breaks.
  4. Status Board Hospital Diversions – With more and more 911 centers using iOps360, they can now update the Hospital Diversions on their status boards which can flow to other agency status boards. I.e. the 911 center will do the hospital updates, and this will show on the EMS status boards. Contact any iOps360 team member to setup your sync.
  5. Quiz Importer Tools – Added an import tool to quickly import Moodle Questions into an iOps360 quiz. If you are using other platforms that can export into a Moodle format, this will also be a way to import those quizzes also using the Moodle format.
  6. User Permissions – Added permission for Employee Tracker Admin. When enabled for a user, the user can create Employee Tracking events for anyone except for themselves. This is useful when you want a user to be able to create tracking events but the user is not a supervisor. Supervisors can already create events for their direct reports so this user permission will also allow them to create events for staff that do not directly report to them also.
  7. Work Orders – Added two new settings for each work order category – Ability for Any user to add notes only to open work orders and the option to send/not send notifications when the work order is updated.

Thanks for all that you do and Happy New Year from the iOps360 Team!
