Our team has been working hard with your ideas and suggestions. Here are few of the bigger changes we made to iOps360 since last month:

We will be focusing on app development and putting more and more in there. Keep the great ideas coming and be safe out there.

  1. App Updates – Ability to see your Education requirements and create new Licenses, Classes and Skills along with documents. Fuel Entries and Hours change requests have also been added. The app team is currently adding Schedule Editing to the app.
  2. Class Instances – Added a Class Flags that can be created and named as needed such as Mandatory or Only for FT staff. These flags can be set on each class instance and will help provide additional details on each class for staff.
  3. Cost Centers – Added additional fields for G/L Code, Operating Unit, and Responsible Person.
  4. Discussion Board / Forum – We have added a new Discussion Board feature to iOps. This can be used for any talk around topics such as Trades, Education requests, uniforms etc. The goal of the discussion boards are to let any staff member contribute ideas including images, links, GIFs, etc. See https://iops360.comproducts/operational-features/discussion-board-forum/ for documentation of the new feature.
  5. Education Admin Portal – Created a new education admin portal to bring all the education aspects under one area for quicker analysis and management. See Education Admin -> Education Admin. Added Import tools from various software providers and also a generic excel import tool. This will be useful with new employees if the can provide classes/licenses/other education in an excel format.
  6. Inventory Orders – When adding an item to the Inventory Orders, iOps360 will show if the item is already on an order to help prevent duplication.
  7. Leave Accruals By Years Of Service – Previously we had auto step ups for either FT or Salaried. Now you can create and name additional step up rules. Then any rule set can be applied to each user. See System Config -> Scheduling -> Leave Accrual By Years Of Service and Users -> Edit -> Leave Hours to change the Step Up type for a user
  8. Licenses – Added a State identifier and also an additional flag called Enhanced. Enhanced can be used to indicate an Enhanced Drivers License if needed for your organization.
  9. Shift Swaps – Streamlined the Shift Swap workflow and added the ability to create swaps into the latest app build.
  10. Time Cards – You can now automatically add hours to designated users time cards. If admin staff are not clocking in but need hours on their time card, you can set the number of hours to be added by day of the week. Any time off requests will reduce the amount added automatically. See User -> Edit -> Misc. tab to set these hours.
  11. Time Card Holidays – Holidays are typically awarded based on a set amount or a multiplier based on the number of hours staff are working. We have added another option to award users the Holiday Amount in their profile. This will allow you to award custom amounts to each user based on their years of service. Contact any iOps360 member to assist with setup.
  12. Weather – Updated our weather provider to get more frequent updates for the status board, iOps command and home page. Also added a Weather link in the Resources Menu.
  13. Work Orders – Agencies not using the Work Order module can now still have access to Work Orders so any iOps related issues can still be reported using the iOps Work Order categories.

Be sure to stop by our booth at the Virginia EMS Symposium Nov 9-13 in Norfolk VA. Thanks for all you do to keep our communities safe!
