Our team has been working hard with your ideas and suggestions. Here are few of the bigger changes we made to iOps360 since last month:

We will be focusing on app development and putting more and more in there. Keep the great ideas coming and be safe out there.

  1. App Updates – We have added Schedule Availability into the app and improved the user interface. Time Off Requests will roll out next, followed by Equipment Check Out, Fuel Entries, and Work Orders. The app is included with your iOps360 subscription at no additional cost.
  2. Equipment Notifications – You can now have as many users as needed to be notified when Equipment changes from Green to Yellow or Red. Previously we only allowed 2 notifications and this has been increased to as many as needed. See System Config -> Equipment -> Equipment Types.
  3. Equipment Service Records – Added a notes section to help document general notes and updates about the equipment repairs.
  4. Inventory Orders – Order page now shows Inventory Flags and colors in case that item has been flagged as discontinued or other information.
  5. Schedule Editor – We will be deprecating the old schedule editor (Edit Today’s Schedule) after October 2022. In order to provide you with the most features for schedule editing, we will be removing the old editor to allow faster updates and not have to maintain the older version.
  6. Schedule Rotations – We have been updated to rotate positions with much more control. We added Daily and Weekly options, the ability to name the rotation plan, and select which shift(s) it applies to. See System Config -> Positions -> Rotations to customize your rotations.
  7. Security – We are seeing more and more intrusion attempts. We highly recommend all users (Especially Administrators) enable Multi-Factor Authentication when logging in. Click on your name and select Multi-Factor Authentication from the Options bar to enable. The website allows logins of 1 or 2 characters (i.e. Badge Number 1). From a security standpoint, this is not optimal and we will be coordinating with your agency to increase the login length for each user if needed.
  8. SMS/Texting Features – We will be moving away from text messaging next year with the vast majority of users having smart phones and longer/prettier app notifications. If your agency has non-smart phones on vehicles we will coordinate with you to allow exceptions.
  9. Surveys – Added users not completing a survey tab in each survey and corresponding report
  10. Task Module – Added the number of tasks you need to complete to the menu bar, several updates to the Task Item Responses pages.
  11. Time Off Approvals – The approval page now shows the skill level, color code, position, location and cost center for all other time off requests. This will help you decide based on the user’s location if you have enough remaining staff to approve the time off.
  12. Vehicle Checks – Added a new question type of gallons. Updated Kits with Seal Numbers to prevent users from entering the same seal number twice and a user confirmation prompt if the seal number does not match the prior seal.

Be sure to stop by our booths at EMS World October 10-14th in Orlando Florida, and Virginia EMS Symposium Nov 9-13 in Norfolk VA. Thanks for all you do to keep our communities safe!

You need to add a widget, row, or prebuilt layout before you’ll see anything here. 🙂
