Have a great idea? We want to know.  The iOps360 platform is not a static product.  The platform has grown with requests from agencies just like yours.  Most feature requests are completed with out any cost to you.  This business model pushes the system to grow and make a better product for all customers.

Here are a few of the latest changes and upgrades to the platform:

  • System Security – Added setting to the user profiles to prevent the auto-logout feature. This feature should only be used if your devices are always secured. To enable, edit a user profile and enable the setting on the Permission tab.
  • App Updates – Some iOS devices were receiving an red error message when communicating with our servers. If any users are still seeing this, have them contact us and we will let them know how to correct it.
  • Automatic Reports – Created an Automatic Report of Units + Leave (Approved + Pending Coverage)
  • Education Verification – Added flags to remind admin of why an education item could not be verified such as awaiting roster, need a better quality image etc.
  • Employee Actions – Added attachments to the Employee Actions section.
  • Equipment – Added the ability to print any barcode based on the Equipment Attributes. This is useful if you want to reference an equipment based on the custom attributes or just need to generate a misc barcode for a piece of Equipment.
  • Equipment – You can now create many pieces of Equipment at once (ie 50 uniforms) and set the attributes on the create page. (ie Create 50 Uniforms, Size Medium)
  • Equipment – Added Not Assigned to user as a search option on the main equipment page.
  • Hours Change Requests – You can now designate multiple users to receive the Hours Change Requests and filter by Cost Center and by Shift Letter (ie All A Shift hours change requests go to the A Shift Captain and the BC)
  • Hours Change Request – Added a link to this feature from the Schedule drop-down menu
  • Integrations – Added integration for Attendance On Demand payroll platform. https://iops360.comiops360-attendance-on-demand/
  • Inventory – Added Units Of Measure (Each, Box, Case etc) to Inventory Suppliers for easier identification of part numbers
  • Leave Balance Tracking – You can now adjust how staff accrue holiday, sick and vacation hours independently of each other. If some hours are awarded per pay period and other hours are award yearly or on the hire date, these can now be fine tuned. Previously, all hours had to be awarded the same way.
  • Schedule – Maximum Hours warning and errors can now be fine tuned for each user type. If you try to schedule a user more than the Warning or Error amount, a message will be shown. Supervisors can continue through a Warning message while Errors can only be overridden by “Sysop” access, the Highest permission. Learn more at https://iops360.commaximum-hours-rules/
  • Status Boards – Added 4 new zone types 1.) Custom picture and short paragraph (Could be used for a new Employee Head-shot and Bio, upcoming class offerings, new equipment) 2.) Equipment Out Of Service zone. This will show all equipment marked out of service for the agency. 3.) Equipment Details zone for a specific equipment type (ie vehicles). This will show the status of any equipment in that type and other details. 4.) NC DOT Live Traffic Cameras. If your state has live traffic cameras, just let us know and we will add them also.
  • Status Board Hardware – We are transitioning away from Android TVs in favor of the ChromeBit and ChromeBoxes
  • Time Clocks – For agencies that have a non-static IP address on their work computers, we have added support for Browser Fingerprinting. This method analyzes 92 different data points to infer the computer is an authorized computer for time stamp purposes. Learn more at https://iops360.comtime-clock-with-browser-fingerprint/
  • Time Off Requests – Added a user profile setting that the user’s time off request will exclude the Lunch Break hours. Ie User is working 8.5 hours with 0.5 being a lunch. The Time off request will be 8.0 hours and not create an open position for the remaining hours. This requires that the unit/position has lunch breaks enabled.
  • Uploads System – Uploads and File attachments have been streamlined so that all attachments can be viewed or downloaded. Some IT systems may block the View windows while they scan for viruses so the Download button can be used if the attachment gets held up by your IT infrastructure.
  • Vehicle Check Offs – Added a setting in each vehicle check off to allow non-admin views to view any check off, or only the ones that they have created
  • Work Orders – When creating a new work order, we added a button to create and add attachment. This will speed up the data entry to help users attach any needed documentation (ie fuel receipts)
