The scheduler can adapt to nearly any scheduling pattern.  Here are a few of the options available:

24/48 (ABC): ie “A” shift

24/73 (ABCD): ie “D” shift

Specific Days Of The Week: ie Monday-Friday

Long Rotational Pattern: User 1 is on-call for 7 days, then User 2 is on-call for 7 days, and repeat

Pattern Based:  Any unit that is staffed on an pattern not listed above will use this scheduling model.  Patterns are defined per unit/vehicle.  Ie On-Off-Off-On-On-Off-Off-Off-On-Off-Off-On-On-Off-Off. (14 days).

Shift Templates: Shift templates allows you to build virtually any combination of users working on one or more units through out a day.  Creating a pattern allows you to schedule any repeating group of users on any units at any time.

Users are assigned to this unit/vehicle and given a Pattern start date which can be aliased back to “A” shift, “E” shift etc.

Each day can only be assigned on “Shift” letter to prevent confusion.  If you system uses both 24/48 and units with a pattern, users will be able to filter events to see their shifts as well as use the Shift alias to assist.
